1. FEATURES IN MECHANISM OF MACHINE BODY 12 PATENTS PENDING |

Unlike machines that develop pressure directly with cranks, the patented lever mechanism incorporated with this machine determines the lowest (weakest) point of the pressure as its nominal capacity so that the normal pressure is generated in any position from the top dead center down to the bottom dead center. This makes the machine ideal for use in such a job like cutting where the maximum tonnage is require upon contacting of the upper blade with the work. The connecting parts of the ram and the lever are designed to withstand the backlashes that take place during cutting. Since the impact of cutting is relieved by the lever before it reaches the crank, the machine is kept free from undue load and the cutting blades will last longer. The frame is of welded construction using extremely heavily gaged steel plates. The lever, ram and other important parts are made of cast steel and the shafts such as king pins are made of premium quality refined alloy steels. These provide high rigidity and impact strength to the machine. The C-type frame permits easy operation from three ways and facilitates changing of blades. The mouth opening which is a disadvantage of conventional C-type frames is completely eliminated by the original design that incorporates the frame and lever having exceptionally high rigidity. All the driving parts are built in the thick-walled frame to offer noise-free and safe operation. The connecting parts for the gear wheel, lever and crank are immersed in the oil bath and the other slideways are automatically lubricated, so there is no need for oiling and greasing. A high performance air friction type is employed for the clutch brake. The linings withstand considerably long-term use. Large-scale foundation work is not required because the machine has a stable center of gravity and is of floor installation type. The machine is designed and equipped to meet the requirements specified in various safety codes and standards. |

The restrained cutting system which is the result of many years of our researches provides neat cutting sections. for example, the machine can cut S45C at a sharp angle of 1° with volume errors of less than ± 0.5%. This cutting method permits smooth continuous operations in single row backward extrusion type heating furnaces and high frequency heating furnaces for heating operations or with transfers and automatic hands. This contributes to the production of superior forged products. The die sets that hold the upper and lower blades and the stopper are made of cast steel to have robustness and to maintain high cutting accuracy even after long-term use. The liners of special steel provided to the working surfaces of the tool holders that receive the highest pressure enable the blades to be maintained in a stable state at all times. They serve also to maintain cutting accuracy and to protect the blades against damages. An air detection system is incorporated for the stopper to assure fail-proof detection of material. It is devised not to leave flaws by permanent strains, burrs and scratches on the end faces of the work. The cassette holder system that houses the upper and lower blades in one blade casing permits one-touch exchanging of the upper and lower blades. This coupled with the features of the C-type frame makes possible the jiffy exchanging of the blades. The cutting blades will be manufactured by forging the special steel specifically ordered by you and finishing these by meticulous heat treatments. the blades feature particularly high abrasion and impact resistances and these coupled with the features of the pressurizing mechanism incorporated to the machine body eliminate the possibility for cracking and chipping at all, thus assuring the long life of the blades. Three edges of the lower cylindrical blade can be used by rotating the blade. When the edge is reground, additional cuts can be obtained in the longitudinal direction of the blade, so there is no waste. The upper flat blade can be used effectively on 8 edges - top, bottom, right, left, front and rear (optional). |

The special pinch rollers designed to apply axial restraining forces exert powerful compressive forces upon the work and eliminate the buckling of the work. Cutting with higher accuracy is made possible by these. The special pinch rollers of a self-aligning system do not require any adjustment with the change in material sizes at all. The material surfaces have no roller flaws at all, thanks to intermittent feeding. The material feed rollers made of hardened special steel offer markedly improved abrasion resistance. Provision of tension devices in various parts of the chains for driving the material feed rollers permits noise and vibration free conveyance. The material receiving dampers provided with the feed mechanism prevent the impact sound of dropping when the material is transferred from the stand onto the material feed rollers. |
